Mayan Families provides opportunities and assistance to the indigenous and impoverished people of Guatemala, through education and community development programs.
Mayan Families operates on the principle that all people should have access to the basic necessities of life. We strive to accomplish our goals through working democratically with the communities we serve.
We take pride in the fact that a significant majority of our donations comes from individual donors like you. We are not government funded and we do not rely on large grant to carry out our work. Our programs are funded by $10.00 or $25.00 gifts from the individuals who support our work.

Success to Date
Mayan Families runs seven Preschool Nutrition centers in rural Guatemala.
We have over 2,400 students sponsored to go to school in 2012
Managed numerous Medical, Dental Vision and Veterinary Clinics
Installed hundreds of Fuel Efficient Stoves helping to reduce deforestation, Burns, Smoke inhalation and reduce respiratory illness.
Repaired numerous Schools classrooms and playgrounds.
Positively impacted tens of thousands of children, women and the elderly
Delivered aid to children and families during natural disasters and emergencies.
