Mayan Families & Living On One Challenge YOU to Live Below the Line
Katy Morris
Have you watched the film Living On One yet? The inspirational and eye-opening documentary was filmed here in rural Guatemala and shows how four US college students lived on less than $1/day for two months. Well, now it's your turn to experience what it might feel like to live below the line of poverty, just like most of the families we work with in rural Guatemala must do every day.
We have partnered with the filmmakers of Living On One, and together we challenge you to Live Below the Line.
Live Below the Line is a challenge to spend just $1.50 a day on food & drink for 5 days fromApril 27th - May 1st, 2015. By taking part in the challenge, you are calling attention to the lack of choice and opportunity faced by 1.2 billion people living in extreme poverty. You are challenging yourself and others to think about extreme poverty and about the choices you make every day.
