Happy Tails

Seeing a rescued dog or cat get a second chance at life filled with love and happiness is so special! Some of these animals have come from terrible situations, abandoned, abused, injured and alone struggling to survive. They have overcome the odds and despite past experiences are so full of love.

Thanks to our partnership with Kitsap, the generous help from Dr. Amannda Richline and other wonderful supporters many dogs and cats have found their forever homes recently. Fourteen dogs have flown to Kitsap quickly finding new homes. Eight more puppies will follow in September.

Several lucky pups were also adopted by volunteers and visitors and now love being with their new families, Lilo and Poppy are excited to fly to their forever homes in the next couple of weeks.

We have many more beautiful, loving, friendly, playful, loyal and fabulous dogs and cats of all colours and types each looking for their very own forever home! We can help arrange all the export paperwork and transport. The chance of them being adopted locally is very small and so international adoptions are a lifeline. We believe every animal deserves a home! Don’t forget to check Facebook for photos and updates on dogs and cats looking for a home.

Unable to adopt? Consider donating to the Adoption Fund to help cover the expenses involved in transporting animals to their new homes. International transport is very expensive and unfortunately the main factor hindering adoptions. Your donation helps save lives and could be the difference between a dog or cat going to their forever home or facing a lifetime at the shelter.

Help us give them a second chance, together we can create more ‘happy tails’!

To help support our efforts to rescue and rehome animals in need, please consider donating  Hope for the Animals today!
